Actor and vocalist David Watson, a popular Charlotte Players performer for many years, is holding a "farewell concert" at the Langdon Playhouse on September 21. David, who is leaving for Navy boot camp on October 4, is bringing together some other top local singers. "This will be the last thing I may do theatricallyl," David said. "Hopefully not, but at the very least for years." David is so well respected and liked he had no trouble assembling a first rate cast and persuading Ken Crisp, to act as Music Director, and Bob Cook, as their percussionist. Joining David on stage will be Melissa Cripps, Dawn Carpenter,Rachael Dalangauskas, Randy Manella and Daulton Lunsford.
