Set in a beauty salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana, where all the ladies who are "Anybody" come to have their hair done. Her eager new assistant Annelle, wise-cracking salon owner Truby, the town's rich curmudgeon, Ouiser, eccentric millionaire Claree, local social leader M'Lynn and her daughter Shelby round out the cast. Filled with hilarious repartee, the characters are truly touching, funny and amiable company in good times and bad.
