Dame Edna (by Scott Mason)

Award-winning Dame Edna impersonator Scott Mason, who is currently playing to sold-out audiences across the country, will be performing his live show on the Cultural Center stage on February 11, 2015. Scott celebrates over ten years of impersonating Dame Edna. Mason auditioned for the real Dame Edna, Barry Humphrie, for the title of "Understudy to DAme Edna" on Broadway, while Humphries and singer Michael Feinstein were prepping their show "All About Me". Mason won the title over a dozen other contenders and appeared in the show's Playbill. Scott's other accolades include the 2010 & 2012 "Best Comedian" at the Las Vegas Reel Awards which is akin to the Oscars for the Tribute Artist Industry. He has also won the Sunburst Conventions for Celebrity Impersonators "Funnest Male" three times since 2008. Mason's "Dame" has been seen on the Rachel Ray Show, Fox News, and the CBS Sunday Morning News.
